Liz Walker

I first threw a pot when I was at school in the 70s and although I really enjoyed pottery back then, it wasn’t until 2010 that I returned to it through adult education.  After six years in the classroom studio, I realised I needed my own wheel and kiln so I could work with clay not just once a week, but when I wanted to!

I am currently working with stoneware and enjoy throwing and hand building equally.  I also love playing around with glazes and crystals.  It’s always a delight to see how they have interacted with each other in the kiln.
